I remember a detail that he most takes children between the ages of 6-16 and I've carried this with me since I was in middle school, when I turned 17 last week and started cursing him out and flipping off the woods as he cant get me anymore as I'm out of his age range

The 2009 is not the origin. There is many Slender Man folklore and myths that are all over the globe that have been told way before 2009. Most popular and fitting is the German story from the 16th century.

well…for me he is a long shadow……..like how he was in some of those earlier photos…who was black and white…….and I don´t have high expections for the movie that is insperied of this legend….so I think.everyone have the right to make their own version of slendy even the one who made the movie………XP

the movie was absolutely TERRIBLE lmao. i hated the characters so much that i spent most of the movie wanting them to die, and it wasn't even scary, mostly since the majority of the movie was just a stereotypical group of idiotic teenagers stumbling around making stupid decisions and getting scared of absolutely everything in the process. although he's the titular character, slendy is only onscreen for about sixty seconds throughout the entire movie, and he himself wasn't portrayed in a very frightening way at all. it figures, though: this is what happens when you try to make a movie out of an internet myth and a game with no storyline or characters whatsoever, but at least the game was actually scary and fun to play. The movie, however, made me want to stick pins in my eyes. honestly, just watch marble hornets instead. it's actually scary and far more interesting.

Imaginary friends, fictional characters, music, tv and videogames are not responsible for your actions you are. If you are that impressionable, naive or just plain stupid enough to think a piece of entertainment influenced you to violence then you should seek out a padded room and a coat with padlocks.

Slender Man kills his victims only after causing them to experience:
    -Paranoia
    -Nightmares
    -Hallucinations
    -Trauma
    -Psychopathy
    -Mental breakdowns/instability/illnesses
    And finally insanity.

This can go for a few short but painful hours or prolonged years and months.

Parents still shouldn't blame Slenderman for their kids actions. It's your fault, you didn't monitor what your kids were seeing online. And these kids were mentally sick, they could've become obessed eith anything and still do crazy stuff.

It annoys me how she keeps saying "Widely believed". Widely spread/talked about doesn't mean that they're believed. It's a modern urban myth, and because we know it's origin, it immediately becomes a joke.

Haha, running out of ideas right? Thought so. And hey, how about you stop giving credit to the HBO documentary only, give credit to all the ARG footage you put in your video without any source or name on it. Give credit to TribeTwelve, Marble Hornets, and The creators of these arg's. You only mention the creator of slenderman but not the creators who made the video footage of slenderman that you used throughout the whole video. Damn atleast cut some slack.

Why isn’t there credits to the series for most of the clips. Not to mention what happens in those series, background on the stories, the influence on the fandom and lore of Slenderman. At the very least don’t use clips from things which stole those clips for the original series please

Hey watchmojo can you some give credit to marble hornets? I definitely saw their footage and I think I footage from other verses like everyman hybrid. they worked hard and you should credit the film they worked on.
