I would have put the Grave of the fireflies score on that list, it always makes me cry. Also, UP deserves better, come on.
1. The Shawshank Redemption2. Gladiator3. Braveheart 4. Titanic5. The Green Mile6. Forrest Gump7. American Beauty8. LoTR9. Lost In Translation (sort of cheating because it's not an OST)10. Jurassic Park
Titanic's music always reminds me that 1500 people died that night…
Up just got disrespected.
Spoilers for the movie Dunkirk. In my honest opinion this is one of the most beautiful yet sad endings to a movie I have ever seen. The music is so gorgeous and the visuals of the men being treated as heroes for surviving set in contrast with the lone pilot, with his plane out of fuel, flying over the beach, where the men were trapped, knowing that when he lands he will die, is breathtaking. The emotion on his face is acceptance of his fate. Which is why when he is captured he makes no attempt to break away. Also the men who saved the stranded soldiers from the beach, which in turn, brought the reality of war to the public, were barely given credit for risking their lives to rescue the stranded soldiers. I cried throughout this whole movie, however I cried the hardest I have ever in my life when I saw this. Such masterful filmmaking and composing. Bravo Christopher Nolan! Bravo Hans Zimmer!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT0BTHkvbto
Top ten YouTube channels running out of idea's – number one: watchmojo
How is Memoirs of a Geisha not on here??
Hans Zimmer can literally do no wrong. I would have included “The Deer Hunter,” “The River,” “Amalie,” “Revolutionary Road,” “American Beauty,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Good Will Hunting,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “In the Name of the Father,” and especially “The Third Man,” “Star Wars,” “Chariots of Fire” and “”Cinema Paradiso.” How on earth you left the final four off your list is beyond comprehension.
If you guys ever do one of these for video gamesI will riot if "With the Stars and Us"
Up is the best one imo
Grave of the Fireflies?
I AM NOT CRYING!!!…its just…allergies…*sniff*
Like the majority of your lists, this one was incredibly biased. Does watch mojo have a diverse staff??? Sure doesn’t seem like it
Where’s Beaches, Marley and me and the pianist? But you have lord of the rings wtf?
I was thinking schindler's list right away, but after first nine thought it might be left off. Glad it's #1 though good choice!
Heard Ups music and had ptsd flashbacks
Most of these movies really don't invoke sadness for me. Except for #1.
The one music film score that made me cry the most was The John Willams music that plays when you See Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, And Grand Marf Tarkin together at the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith.
You talk about Gladiator's music, and don't even mention the Battle. That's actually impressive.
Dragon ball super broly movie where goku’s mom and dad send him off in a space pod to earth cause his home planet is gonna be destroyed
What about the Land Before Time?
Umm AmèlieOld boys Final WaltzHeck what about Requiem for a Dream? Most of these just seem to be based on Nostalgia especially the E.T score and Titanic
Howard Shore's LOTR score is genious. My favorite film score of all time!
Why is Up Olay an honorable mention
I don't remember the scores from any of these.
How could you put titanic at 8
Where is the ending to City Lights???
Avatar's score brought more tears to my eyes than Titanic's. I cry almost every time I hear "Shutting Down Grace's Lab." Not to mention there are a ton of other tear-worthy parts of scores like "The Destruction of Hometree."
im confused about this videos title. what does the movie score have to do with the music. are they the same thing in this video
How To Train Your Dragon had an amazing score 🐉
What about Star Wars or Harry Potter? They had some scores that made us cry.
Where is "Hachi : The Dog's tale"? That movie make me cry like a girl every times
Once upon a time in America score made me cry
Nothing is more dramatic than an empty wallet and a credit card debt.
Hey, remember when WatchMojo blurred out Kate Winslet's nipple….ON JACK'S DRAWING?!
Interstellar best movie ever!
More Pixar movies like Inside Out or Toy Story 3 should have been in the list
Bruh!!! Where the hell is Star Wars?!?!
HOW DO YOU NOT INCLUDE SPIELBERG'S RESPONSE TO WILLIAMS' PROTEST THAT HE NEEDED SOMEONE BETTER TO SCORE SCHINDLER'S LIST?!? ("Well, yes, of course, John, but they're all dead.")
Legends of the Fall should have made this list.
Wait a minute?! Why wasn't the movie Glory on this list ?!
Avengers Infinity War could have been on the list IMO, especially with the death scenes and the ending as well.
Sometimes, the end theme to Captain America The First Avenger brings a tear to my eye with the sheer pariotism it embodies. I'm sure the imagery helps, too.
NO EDWARD SCISSORHANDS?!?! Unsubscribed.
Sound of the Shire always gets me
