What, no Land Before Time opening? Don Bluth and Gary Goldman disapprove. P.S See their movie Dragon Lair coming to a theater near you.
I'd like to see the live action version of BATB beat the animated version's prologue!
I haven't watched The Prince of Egypt but I don't believe the Israelites prayed to their "gods" to save them when they only had one.
Might as well call it Disney movie openings…wow that is a lot
What this is crazy how is LION KING not #1 it is epic UP is touching but nothing compared to the lion king
Yo Watch Mojo I think you forgot about Transformers The movie.
What, Lion King isn't number one
Grave of the Fireflies
9:47 Y E E T !
1. Up (Love)2. Prince of Egypt ( Faith & Hope)3. The Lion King (Beginnings)
Ok first of all, your statement of The Jewish building the pyramids is false, the pyramids were built before the time the movie takes place, the Egyptians themselves built the pyramids
WALL-E deserves so much better! The animation is incredible, the imagery and statements about society are so impactful, the plot of the movie and background information was given without narration and almost no dialogue!! the cutest character ever was introduced and even a cockroach was made likable! and the music was amazing and haunting which helps emphasize how catastrophic pollution is
Prince should be #3.. and i was going to be MAD Lion king was 2……. but yeah UP touched me in the feels that opening my God it is more of a story
The Lion King's opening will always be #1 for me. I feel like the animals lifting their heads to pay attention at the start is a self-fulfilling prophecy for first-time viewers. When someone blasts Circle of Life in public, the first line of the chant WILL have most people in the vicinity look up with a smile and try to find the source. Singing (or, attempted singing, for the chants) usually follows. It's just that powerful. I also love The Prince of Egypt's opening. And Kubo and the Two Strings is so tragic in that it barely broke even with a tiny profit. For the level of engineering and artistry that went into to making that fluid stop-motion, and the powerful story-telling….I hope it gains a following someday; in the same way Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet have.
I would also add Spirit Stallion of the Cimmaron by Dreamworks. Very powerful and complex storytelling for a "horse-y" movie. The opening scene for that film is one of the few hand-drawn film openings that have aged immaculately. The overhead flying across the old-west and overhead the the horse herd and Grand Canyon… breathtaking.
that UP opening is overrated. yeah i said it.
9:36 WAKANDA FOREVER oh wait wrong movie
Aladdin (1992)Shrek 2 (2004)Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001)Finding Dory (2016)Tangled (2011)Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)Hotel Transylvania (2012)"Despicable Me" franchise (2010-2017)Monsters Inc (2001)Toy Story 2 (1999)Toy Story 3 (2010)Coco (2017)Wreck It Ralph (2012)How to Train your Dragon (2010)Mulan (1998)Zootropolis (2016, AKA Zootopia)
I'm just gonna say Frozen (2013) as well which is very divisive for some.
I think we all knew Up would be number 1. Still makes me feel a bit upset to this day at the age of 19.
Where was Atlantis?
How is Tarzan not on this list? Two Worlds One Family
The Lion King >>>>>>>>>>> Up
where is arabian nights from aladdin?
What about Hercules? That opening is one of my favorites
Where are Dinosaur and Atlantis: The Lost Empire?
The Lion King should be #1 & Tarzan should actually be on the damn Top 10 list.
Muy buenos los vídeos siempre como el canal al español pero me gusta más este y si pudieran agregar los subtítulos al español también sería bueno
Tarzan should be top 5 if not 1 smh!
Hebrew slaves, not Jewish slaves. Jewish is a name from Juda, one of the 12 tribes; according to myth, all 12 tribes where in Egypt, so all Hebrew tribes.
Watch Mojo: Carl and Ellies story could be a movie all to itself.Me: Someone get on this!
Sorry can’t live with The Lion King at #2
Talking about Animated films, this is by far my favorite WatchMojo list only cause The Huntchback and Prince of Egypt are included! Also, Beauty and the Beast and Lion King!
As much as I love Up, The Lion King should have been number one
Honestly…I think Bells of Notre Damn is much more powerful of an opening than Circle of Life.
Thank you for getting #1 right. I think the first 15 minutes of Up is the greatest moment in film history.
“THE PRINCE OF EGYPT” SHOULD’VE BEEN #1.
Yeah, I said it.
The opening scene of The Wind Rises.
I don't know what to say aside fromW O N D E R F U L!!!
I was looking at number 2 like, what the heck can top lion king??? Then you show Carl & Ellie. Yea, you got me there.
Me: Circle of Life must the be the first one. No doubt Up: hold my beer…
Omg the Prince of Egypt is my favorite.
Lol, I love how almost all of these movies are Disney or Pixar films but the ones that are not are AMAZING movies from Dreamworks and others.
I personally love all of these choices and understand their placements and choices.
What about zoo topia frozen tangled finding dori aladdin
I recognize a couple of these songs and openings
#2 needs to be swapped with #1
HELLO?!?!? WHERE THE F### IS TARZAN!??!?!?!??!
The Circle of Life should have been #1. Period.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is an amazing movie. One of my top 10 movies.
Did y’all REALLY put Circle Of Life as #2? That’s so disrespectful. Yeah I love Up and all, but opening to without a doubt the best Disney movie of all time is so iconic. Quit disrespecting this movie.
Awwww the UP intro I'm cryingg.
