Ok first of all, your statement of The Jewish building the pyramids is false, the pyramids were built before the time the movie takes place, the Egyptians themselves built the pyramids

WALL-E deserves so much better! The animation is incredible, the imagery and statements about society are so impactful, the plot of the movie and background information was given without narration and almost no dialogue!! the cutest character ever was introduced and even a cockroach was made likable! and the music was amazing and haunting which helps emphasize how catastrophic pollution is

The Lion King's opening will always be #1 for me. I feel like the animals lifting their heads to pay attention at the start is a self-fulfilling prophecy for first-time viewers. When someone blasts Circle of Life in public, the first line of the chant WILL have most people in the vicinity look up with a smile and try to find the source. Singing (or, attempted singing, for the chants) usually follows. It's just that powerful. I also love The Prince of Egypt's opening. And Kubo and the Two Strings is so tragic in that it barely broke even with a tiny profit. For the level of engineering and artistry that went into to making that fluid stop-motion, and the powerful story-telling….I hope it gains a following someday; in the same way Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet have.

I would also add Spirit Stallion of the Cimmaron by Dreamworks. Very powerful and complex storytelling for a "horse-y" movie. The opening scene for that film is one of the few hand-drawn film openings that have aged immaculately. The overhead flying across the old-west and overhead the the horse herd and Grand Canyon… breathtaking.

Talking about Animated films, this is by far my favorite WatchMojo list only cause The Huntchback and Prince of Egypt are included! Also, Beauty and the Beast and Lion King!

Lol, I love how almost all of these movies are Disney or Pixar films but the ones that are not are AMAZING movies from Dreamworks and others.

I personally love all of these choices and understand their placements and choices.

Did y’all REALLY put Circle Of Life as #2? That’s so disrespectful. Yeah I love Up and all, but opening to without a doubt the best Disney movie of all time is so iconic. Quit disrespecting this movie.
