Down vote for garbage 18:9 aspect ratio.
6:42 heyyyyy!!!! (…..) Ohhhhh
Ivy Bridge all over again.
For those who don't remember, Intel used 6x-series (Sandy Bridge) chipsets throughout the Ivy Bridge development cycle, but at the last moment, they decided to require new 7x-series chipsets, supposedly to make upgrades more expensive and thus reduce demand, since they had trouble with yields on 22nm. Ivy Bridge engineering samples would happily run on older motherboards with old enough ME firmware (yes, old enough – Intel added checks to later firmwares to block this), but production units wouldn't – at least until someone released a hacked ME firmware updater app to enable flashing the "Ivy Bridge-unlocked" ME firmware onto older boards.
I still use ddr2 motherboard for downloads only laptop 😂😂😂
If there is one thing we all learn over the years its anything that's dirt cheap that comes from china is chalked full of lies and flimsy chinesium. So you can probably tell that I'm amazed this product lived up to it's promises.
clearly they lied.
With nothing but a bios mod, people are running 8700k's in Z170 and Z270. Even overclocking them.
Saw another test where they tested the per-pin temp, since the total power does run though less pins in 100/200 boards. It was completely fine.
Looking forward to Ryzen 3000. Of course, it will be interesting to see how AMD behaves once they take the lead.
Anthony is always so nice and smart
As much as I love LTT, the way Linus talks about cheap, foreign (specifically chinese) and janky hardware always kinda bugged me. "LOOK AT THIS CHINESE GARBAGE HAHA! SO FUCKING 'GHETTO' AND THE NAME IS SO FUNNY HURR DURR!" Do you just hate poor people, Linus?
how much did that oven in the wall cost?
Time to BUY!!!!
don't give walmart ideas
50 bucks for a motherboard ISN'T cheap??
Onda is dirt cheap compared to other brands, just don't expect many official BIOS updates though
It's for reasons like this that intel isn't happy with you
Intel IntelYes papa?Misinforming consumers?No papa!Telling lies?No papa!Use the Chinese Motherboard.Ha ha ha!
just wondering about your bellow zero projects: wana try this : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC12V-108W-Semiconductor-electronic-Peltier-refrigeration-cold-Space-Small-air-conditioner-water-cooling-Aluminum-radiator-fan/32838840920.html personely I have no expirience but seems to be a good sollution than "big watercooling or freezing unit"
50 dollars is pretty cheap buddy boi
This is why I never buy Intel products…
what with these new aspect ratio???? i dont like it.
haha would be awesome if i could upgrade my old 4460 with a newer 8400! XD
started watching these long videos in 2x speed. saves me so much time, it's wonderful. As a side bonus, I can now understand chipmunks.
He's like a smart teddy bear! Put Anthony in more videos!
Yep, my laptop with 8th gen i5 came with ddr3
great choice of disney-style classical music! please name the pieces though
i go for fire!
All this stuff you get for free giveaway something
bro that anthony dude needs some help his so fat he cant open his eyes he might wanna get some help im not being toxic im just worried about his health
U should have tried putting ddr4 in it I am pretty shore that in case it works it will not be 1st MB that somehow works with both DDR3 and DDR4
NO!!! they have only done it dozens of times before!
I was expecting you to show us the DDR3 vs DDR4 CS:GO results?
While DDR3 is obviously lower bandwidth, isn't its latency comparable to (perhaps even slightly better than) DDR4?
In a like-for-like benchmark I wouldn't have expected to see a large difference.
love this. linus mentions that him and the intel team they are in contact with are not on the best of terms, then he comes out and definitive shows that intel lie about their hardware's compatibility for the sake of money. good guy linus.
All semiconductour company's tend to lie alot so who really cares just buy a mother board that meets the requirements of the CPU and call it a day
Isn't 1250+ good for a 8709k?
Digging the classical background music, guys. Nice
you should mod cpus/boards to make them compatible next, i think derb8uer did a vid on that
Well… yeah. Anyone who actually understands tech and doesn't just follow build guides on youtube, knows when Intel's chipset restrictions are arbitrary.
wow linus really went how to basic on that LCD at 6:50
$80 for H chipset over here is a steal as it's usually $120. 🙁
Intel didn't say it was unstable from a QC POV, they stated it was flat impossible, which is untrue. der8auer already showed that a LOT of missing vcc and ground pins – more than were added with LGA1151v2 (Z370) compared to LGA1151v1 (Z170/Z270) – made absolutely no difference to a 9900K under high load. I will let everyone know if the 9900K in my 2016 Z170 laptop fails at some point… but for now it's all good and under a 130W power limit it can maintain stock turbo and hit 2000 cb R15 while remaining under boiling point temps
Cpu me 😎😎😎😎 at 11:35
Can you guys test a wraith prism on a 9900k? You know, for science.
Linus u forgot about the m.2 slot
And it's brought to you by *skips forward 20 seconds.
No shit its not going to have a right angle connector
Here is a video idea, complete AliExpress PC!
Reminds me of the ECS EliteGroup 915P-A motherboard that supported both DDR 400 or DDR2 667 memory. Which had a bios update to support up to DDR2 800. It also had 8x AGP AND 16x PCIe video card slots. It was a decently fast board untill the northbridge chip overheated and literally blew the puny heatsink off when it let the magic smoke out.
I've seen some other really funky motherboards coming out of China.
What's up with the Dance Dance Revolution 3 excitement?
If it fits, it works. well that's how I dealt with my problems. XD
$55 isn't a cheap mobo? wtf has linus been smokin, cause I want some of it
